How can we forget the timeless seriel-soap of all time! Dallas may have introduced us to the world of oil, but Dynasty had in all it's campness and splendour, glamour, riches,  beautiful bodies, adorable costumes and jewellery, designer hairstyles and the biggest bitch in Earth's history - Alexis Carrington Colby Dexter. Alexis could take a blow with the greatest style and give one even better. It's the bitch we love to hate and hate to love, but we do. She introduced Joan Collins to a whole new generation of soap fans and it shot off her career again, like pork but and tata's in Cow and Chicken - with a vengeance.

Dynasty can currently be seen on DSTV's Series Channel in South Africa and many other African countries. It seems that when it comes to Dynasty, there's always somebody that remembers.

Star Trek Voyager has to be the best Sci-Fi series on television ever. I've never been a real Trekkie, but Voyager just blows my mind. It's like the previous series' with 200x more action, a higher budget and (thank God) at long last some philosophical content - not just another family values soap opera in space like Deep Space Nine. With a stronger captain and more colourful characters, Voyager wins my vote as the best television has ever been able to cough up.

Space: 1999 did for the 70's what Voyager does for the 90's. With wonderful stories and the very interesting character, Maya, this series is still one of my favourites even though I saw it when I was only 5 years old! It can only be because it was truly unforgettable.

There aren't much info available for Space: 1999, but I will keep trying till I have enough to create a page for the series.

V is yet another unforgettable Sci-Fi series, but this time from the 80's. It's really a great story, but the production was unfortunately so 80's stereotype, that it has already dated. They just couldn't resist to bring in the 80's campness with the red suits and retro hairstyles. And the jewellery! It's still fun to watch though.

The Golden Girls was truly golden. Even though there were these very OBVIOUS and annoying 'moral-to-the-stories', it was a delightful, witty, entertaining and light portrayal of friendship between 4 woman. Rumour has it that the original script was written for 3 gay men and the mother of the one. How far or close this is to the truth I will not know, but it will make sense if you take a good look at the bitchy humour. The series was so popular under gay men because they could identify with the way these woman interacted with each other. Honey, we may bitch on you all day, but when you need a friend...

South Park is the youngest member of the family on South African television. It has already made an impact on it's audiences. Even people that haven't seen it yet is talking about it. Tasteless, vulgar, sick to the core and rudely offensive is all the reasons I find it so entertaining. It's not afraid of anything and throws societies rules out the window. Viva South Park!
